As much fun as I've had laughing at all the understandable hilarious tweets about me today, the mic issue is not funny and yes it did happen. I tried a couple of times to jump in and my mic was not on. Particularly wanted in on the subject of race.

I just hope her reveal of this gets covered by the national media, because the PDC clearly wants to think the people are in control of these debates when they're not. Even those who get first Q's seem calculated.

Next debates, anytime you want to interject, tap on the mic to make sure it’s on. That ought to draw attention to how unfair the networks are being towards you and Yang and they will get caught if it’s not working right there on live TV.

There should have been mention by the candidates when their mics were on. But they obviously can't without looking petty to the masses. The more the media covers this story, the more people know. How they change it is more complicated without drastic action.
