The saddest part is that the same people we had promote unrest and violence in Central and South America are still in power - like Elliott Abrams, who condoned the El mozote massacre and destruction of El Salvador, now being special envoy to Venezuela. Thank you for saying this.

It's a never-ending vicious cycle of imperialism and Cold War attitudes that remain today and the consequences of which will affect generations to come, everywhere in Central and South America, the Middle-East, or elsewhere. Thank you for being the only one to bring it up.

My Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard who is also running for President has NOT co-sponsored the Berta Careers Act. Perhaps somebody somewhere should ask if "no regime change" should be applied to any country besides Syria?
