In the 1990s I sat in a room crowded with people dealing with cancer and AIDS and @marwilliamson told them that those diseases were the best thing that ever happened to them bc it opened them up to spiritual growth. She's a nut job. #hardball
I absolutely never would have said any such thing. And there are thousands of people who I knew well at the time, who I worked with at the time, who would confirm that.
