Absolutely. not denigrating anyone’s personal experience. But platitudes won’t beat trump. He connects with many because he speaks bluntly. We need candidate that doesn’t speak in phrases that suburban moms stencil on their walls. Respect u as a human. But gotta fight differently
Anyone who thinks we just need someone tough enough to beat Trump is naïve about the nature of this opponent.

Agree that it can’t be just that. You. Can’t have a platform of “I’ll beat trump”...but no ideas for how to solve big problems. I’d love to hear candidate say-not I’ll relieve student debt-I’ll reduce the cost of college so that it’s affordable! And natl healthcare is ONLY fix.

You don’t have to be him-vulgar, crass, uneducated. But the candidate must be strong, prepared and able to off the cuff respond to his name calling and lies. And do so with a smile and stats.
