There is a strong correlation between low IQ and violence. You are likely intelligent, therefore much less prone to violence. Your response seems to indicate you were more disruptive than violent.

I think correlations aren't useful here. We have to understand causes. Most high IQ people tend to live in safer neighborhoods. High IQ people in dangerous places are very good at violence.

You mean medium-high. The highest stay and become mob bosses, warlords, cult leaders, or hold high political offices.

Mob and cult leaders are likely no smarter than you and I, but have characteristics that diffeeemtiste them from the average Joe.

@suvyboy and I have critiques of IQ, we believe that it's measuring the wrong thing and on a faulty distribution. Real world success is more important than a non-Lindy test from a semi-legitimate field of study.https://twitter.com/suvyboy/status/1041423723688067072 …Mimetïc Value added,
Spooky Suvy @suvyboyIntelligence is more fat-tailed than IQ would imply it to be. IQ implies intelligence is distributed by the Gaussian. Reality: Intelligence distributions are Pareto Most voters are at bottom level. Expecting politicians to cater to the many means IQ won't factor in decisions. https://twitter.com/primalpoly/status/1040971354277728256 …Show this thread1 reply 1 retweet 2 likes -

So you could be right about literal IQ test results, but IQ tests are biased towards nerdiness, not street smarts. Nerds often fail at learning street smarts, which I value a lot more. Our brains evolved for complex social interactions, not to see the world scientifically.

IQ is valued in academic standards, which by my own experience is worthless. IQ has nothing to do with real life.

Of course IQ has value. The smartest people find their way to the top of hierarchies. It seems that you are overvaluing other traits, not sure which... After IQ you have conscientiousness, then disagreeableness.

I value courage above all else, and it's not an overvaluation. I've been around a lot of high IQ people. It's very overrated. After courage, I'll take openness and wittiness. Many IQ people can't make jokes or puns and take life too seriously; they are very dimwitted.
