Hmm, isn't using different batch/vendor devices in RAID still a thing?
Wow. Certain SSDs have a firmware bug causing them to irrecoverably fail after exactly 32,768 hours of operation. SSDs that were put into service at the same time will fail simultaneously, so RAID won't help.

After 3 years hardware has no value left in the general ledger. So it should replaced with something new. We are an agile company, running on antique hardware. Agile in name only.
