My friend was arrested the same night I was. He pleaded for medical attention and was denied. He has 6 staples in his head and a broken arm because the NYPD arrested him for linking arms and peacefully protesting.

I’ve been in a deep depression for many months. I’ve been trying to pull myself out of it but it is a struggle. One day at a time. After the election I felt like I lost my purpose. I remind myself each day that my purpose is to show up, be of service to others, to learn & to grow
