    These are the pictures of plum mite galls I took today at Prusch Park in San Jose. The agricultural inspector was on site and he was labeling infected trees in the orchard. We should be checking the plum and apricot wood as we pick it during the exchanges and before grafting.

  7. Fruit or candy? One item only. 63 candies vs 33 fruits picked by trick-or-treaters. 7 fruits were picked by adults. Okitsu Wase Satsuma was the least popular. I suspect they knew the bright tangerines only, and mostly ignored the freshly picked Satsumas.

  17. May fruits in Davis. Strawberries, 4 seasons mulberry, Guaruja Red pitanga, and Fletcher White loquat

  18. I thought I was getting Selenicereus, but it’s not, I think. The best hit I found is Aporocactus mallisonii. Is this right? Any people here?
