In every other topic, feminists agree that the women subjected to male sexual entitlement are not the focus. We all dismiss, with one contemtuous voice, any idea that "incels" should just be given women to ejaculate into, or that "jealous" male killers should attract our pity.

But mention prostitution, & it's "listen to /sex workers/", "/sex workers/ have a right to sell sex", "/sex workers/ deserve to make a living". You just *can't* turn it back to looking at punters, why punters buy women, what their motivations are. It's like talking to the wall.

And nobody has ever managed to explain to me why this ONE AREA where there is a) sex, b) violence, c) a gendered imbalance between perpetrators & victims is somehow different from all the others, such that we should focus on the victims & pretend like the perpetrators are air.
