Switching to Slackware, Firefox Quantum, DuckDuckGo. Beginning the long process of moving web accounts away from GMail. Any recommendations for a Google Docs alternative?
Maybe look at BSD instead? @linuxfoundation is doing weird thing with Linux, like allowing things on the Microsoft Store that run on MS's proprietary compatibility layer and contain 0 Linux kernel code to sub-license the Linux trademark.

I love NetBSD, but certain software I absolutely must have won't run there. Also, I need the ability to use proprietary video drivers.

There are freedom-focused Linux distros. Not sure if Slack is one of them, but they do exist.
