To be entirely clear: We know that the Chief Judge Beryl Howell extended Mueller's grand jury, which was first seated in July 2017. And federal rules say that the grand jury term can be extended for six more months.

Well 24 cumulative months is...interesting But what most don’t know is the 18 month initial term is in fact standard The this GJ “17-1” was set to expire on Sunday January 6, 2019. Judge Howell’s rationale “in the public interest” is also dictated by the Fed Rules of Procedure

If my recollection is correct I believe they are paid a paltry $50 per day So those who are selected to serve are truly sacrificing a lot
