Went down a rabbit hole trying to better understand the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and am more confused and disheartened than I was before I started. I see zero reason to have any hope of resolution in the region.

It’s been going on since Israel was founded. Palestinians believe they have a religious right to Israel.
I thought the israelis are the one who think they have a religious right to the land because it's written in some magical book, and that's why they came to that region from all over the world after Uk prime minister Balfour promised them the land his country occupied ?

Yeah this guy is talking absolute nonsense, Israel is and always has been the aggressor, if it was Palestine invading Israel then why has Palestine’s territory shrunk and Israel’s grown?

They have a legal right to the land currently that’s all that matters. I’m sure both sides have religious claims that don’t matter.
