I think the gambling industry is bad. Many huge industries are worse but I think it clearly is net negative. If you have the cognitive dissonance to think you in no way contributed to the depression, broken families, and lives taken as a result of addiction then I envy you. /1

No you shouldn't feel bad at all. My issue was less of a "we are all bad people" and more of a "let he who is without sin cast the first stone". I agree many huge industries are worse. All 4 you listed are great examples and I'd say gambling is worse than avg but not the worst
