In fact the NSDAP did not win by plurality. In 1933 they got 43.91% of the vote, even though they terrorized the country before elections. Hitler's seizure of power was a coup. Difference betw Hitler & DT? Hitler’s party actually won, by plurality, in 1933 elections & Hitler made German Chancellor. DT lost the popular vote by 3 ½ million votes but took Oval Office w/help from Putin.
