I'm familiar w/that program. However, there were far more "every day" Nazis who did nothing and, after the war ended, tried to blend in. von Braun et al were far more high profile. My point is GOP ppl will try to do the same.

I think you are absolutely right. It’s of course a gross miscarriage of justice that so many war criminals got off. Many to America, some to USSR, some just blending in. In the 1950’s it was a Cold War joke to wonder if their Germans were smarter than our Germans. But not funny

The point I was making earlier - in context of US today - is "every day" authoritarians, who take no responsibility for their conduct, will try to fade into the background after (one hopes) trump is tossed. Definitely none of it is funny.
