So I've spent the weekend down the bat-sh*t insane rabbithole that is Quiverful(b/c clearly I'm a masochist). I discovered something I never have before: Christian Domestic Discipline. Where the husband gives the wife punishments when she displeases him. Have y'all heard of this?
What I've read so far is troubling: 1) If trump's nominee for the Court is a member of People of Praise, she has entered a covenant to obey leaders of the group 2) Would they dictate to her how to rule on an important case? On any cases? On all cases?

That's one of my biggest concerns too. I never thought I'd say this, but hopefully she's just a grifter using the movement and not a true believer. True believers in that sh*t are way more dangerous.

Unfortunately - 1) her fam history 2) what it takes 2 become a member 3) member+ to be on board of trustees for one of the group's colleges = she's a "believer." And - the "upper echelon" of the women's side of leadership? Called "hand maids" until the book & TV show were hits
