We aren't in a rush this time. So we have the chance to do it as best we can, although it's still going to be as cheap as possible lol

I think that means that this winter, we will likely just be focusing on stripping it down. Regardless of which one we end up with, we expect there will be some rust to deal with. Most of that will have to wait til it's warm again though, because I don't think we'll get there

before winter and I can't be doing that on freezing metal.

I guess we could start fitting and cutting the framework and covering for it, just dry fit it temporarily.

That give us a chance to work out layout issues that can't be settled til we're looking at it stripped down.

On the note of stripping it down. I've been watching bus building videos for years, a lot more in the recent weeks of course. I don't know what's wrong with some the people who do this, but definitely something is... lol

I'll look under the bus when we first get it, and IF by some weird off chance, the seat nuts look like they would be easy to turn, I 'might' give it a try... Might... Chance of that is really slim though, because I'm going to get some ear protectors, goggles and use an angle

grinder and just cut them all off on the inside.
