We own 3 guns - no assault weapons. We view them as tools. They are kept in the "toolbox" just like every other tool we have. Thankfully, we've never had to use them. Hopefully, we never will. I don't take/wear my tool belt when I shop. I don't brandish my scroll saw in public.
I respect your view - and your conduct. I don't require such tools in my daily existence, although I was raised around them. I do not own a firearm. That's a good first step toward ending gun violence: ppl not owning to begin with.
