Is it me, or is there something really wrong with eating outside at a restaurant during an airborne pandemic? 
As long as precautions - real, bona fide social distancing & masks & everything else - you're okay & safer than eating inside at a restaurant, all other things being equal.

Safer than inside does not = ok. It still carries risk.

I understand that, but I thought her point was about a virus transmittable in the air and being outside. If it seemed I implied otherwise, I did not mean to convey that. I should have noted the context in my comment.
