That's what I understand. I hope to visit. Before that I'd want to research the Quaker (Community of Friends) movement there. My paternal ancestors emigrated due to religious persecution in 1660s (?). That has nothing to do w/Wales today but is why they left.

I was always always told the Small family was Irish. My great-great grandfather was William Small, but possibly originally Smith.

John and Frances Small arrived from Wales in the 1660s. That was from a computer search at the Kansas City Irish museum (in the train station). That was where our branch of the family originated.
