Never said they weren't real. It's selective information used to promote the view that police are empathetic and tolerant. Ergo, it's propaganda.
Propaganda is "systematic" dissemination of information. If the photographs are in posts of an individual who simply wants to show police as empathetic & tolerant in the moments depicted, it's not propaganda.

The spread of the photos are part of an overall campaign by MSM, police, the Govt and the establishment to paint the protesters as violent and causing the problem. They diminish the police's role in instigating the violence by putting out propaganda like this.

Perhaps, but in some quarters people view these photos as examples of people being in agreement. Our police are over-militarized, but many agree w/the protesters and oppose police brutality.
