I wonder if Trump even realizes the enormity of what his inaction has caused. Does he regret the misery he’s causing?
1) No: dt's incapable of math > 1 (the 1 being him). 2) No: I think he might be a nihilistic solipsist & believes nothing exists except what is in his head & thus denies misery.

His mental condition doesn't allow him to care about others, the only thing that may change his actions is when everybody stops supporting his actions. As long as people will applaud his stupidity he will keep on behaving as he has.
