Canned green beans. I refused to eat them. Once, I sat at the table until after 9 pm because I refused to eat them. Finally, at a later time, my gag reflex kicked in and ... you can guess. I still cannot stand them, but I'll eat fresh green beans.

Had the same experience with Cheerios. Still can’t look at a box of them without flinching.

I was in an abusive foster home for a while when I was seven. The only meals served were Cheerios for breakfast and mayonnaise sandwiches. To this day, the very smell of Cheerios gives me cold chills.

That was me and fish....sat at the dinner table for hours. Of course, back then it wasn't fresh fish, but mushy frozen. ugh!

I was fine with canned green beans until I was 13, when my mom opened a can to find a sliced up cricket inside.

Oh the days when we had to sit at the table until gone. I never did it to my own kids because of the bad memories. Figured if they hate something that much why for e them to eat it? Its almost cruel. They tried All food,but werent forced to eat it & loved most everything
