I should've known my support of gun control would bring out extremely hateful people. They only validate my position. (btw to favor gun control does NOT = communism; Putin is KGB & funds NRA.)

Maybe frame it more as gun safety, violence/accident prevention, etc.
I'm all for that, but I also think we need to ban assault weapons, do background checks & ban clips w/> 5 rounds. I suggest that not for fun but for fewer deaths.

I’m in agreement with you. Sadly, there’s such a visceral reaction to sensible management of guns in our society. Also, it’s bizarre how out of 27 Amendments, these folks are fixated on just one. I doubt they could even name 6 of the 27, as they proclaim to be such defenders.

I'm all for the 3rd and the 21st. The 9th is a favorite. And I love the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th, not to mention the 14th! (The 18th is rather a waste of time.)

- What's an "assault weapon"? - BG checks are already a thing. - Banning magazines with > 5 rounds is uncostitutional and stupid. It will only make it harder for law-abiding citizens to protect themselves, while criminals will simply 3D-print their 30 rounders.
