That afternoon we'd gone to the IGA (grocery store) & the aisles for beer and for bread were empty. (Well, we'd bought that beer. We needed that beer.)
I know what I did. I was snowed into a bar in Greencastle, Indiana. The owner said burgers & draft beer were on the house. Then I realized I lived only two blocks away. Still, it was hell.
