Sounds like you're reviving the Bull Moose party Mark. I think a "Progressive Republican" movement could save the party from itself.
There is a Progressive Republican group afoot now. I found them on-line this weekend, but have not conacted them. If anyone sees this & is a member or otherwise connected w/them, pls give me a link or other contact info.
