I asked you what slogans I repeated. I also referred to secession statements of 4 States - Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina and Texas - as to why they seceded. To say slavery would have gone away if ministers had been allowed to preach is simplistic.

These secession stmts reflected the dominant view of citizens of the South. "The end of slavery would mean the end of the South. .. Though not all Southerners felt this way, most did." Kaplan, Lincoln and the Abolitionists, 2017, p. 266.

When you imply I am uninformed, you seem to overlook my cites to historical documents and scholarly commentary on history. Reasons the Civil War occurred are complex. What support do you have for your assertions?

if you arent able to figure that out, let me know. finally a guy named Lincoln explained this about Founding Fathers oh, 100, 200 times Quite famous at the time. He was correct too, re the founding fathers and slavery He used what we call facts...read his full speeches

I can figure a lot of things out. So far you have not cited any sources. Lincoln was a racist, although his presidency brought about emancipation and the 14th Amendment. History is complex. You say you want "facts" yet you cite no sources for what you assert.
