When I was young I saw old people As just old When they walked It was slow Some smelled Like urine Had old hair Old teeth Old tempers & clothes Old everything But now Guess what I'm that old too Everything I knew Them to be The only thing Different is Now I respect their History
10 yrs ago or so an older lady was at the counter, ahead of me, in a store Cashier was helping her figure the prices of items she had. A store owner came up to me & started to apologize. I stopped him. "If I'm lucky, I'll reach her age someday & need the same kind of help."
