Tho it was 100 yrs ago, KKK's influence was derived from an undercurrent of hatred & resentment. WWI devastated much of IN & recovery came only w/WWII. Blue collar ppl reacted again when factories started closing & farms going under in 1970s
I'm in Indy/lived in Indiana nearly all my life. In 2016 Dems shoved Baron Hill out so Evan Bayh could run again. That can cause apathy. Factories & farms R gone. Schools taken over for profit & for Jesus. No future & no hope. dt cussed a lot & made them feel good.
