I need lawyer answer. Can trump unilaterally pull us out of NATO? Any way that Congress can stop this? I guess this would also be similar but not the same as pulling us out of South Korea?
Laws mean nothing, in this setting, if they are neither enforced nor backed by the "check" that is the responsibility of Congress.

Sorry I did not follow the meaning of "check" you are referring to oversight? And what exactly can congress do? Maybe it could be specified in the next budget?

Yes - oversight. As far as what can be done, ultimately impeachment. That has to go through the body - Senate - that advises & consents on treaties. The House can do things w/the budget, but then dt can ignore them. I'm a cynic at times, bot on this I'm a realist.
