In human death, family, neighbors show up at the door, friends call, grief is acceptable and shared. When an animal passes, the grief is largely solitary, often minimized as "just a pet." None of that other support happens. Sorry, maybe unfairly, but I am leaning on you all now.
My cat Little Bit passed away last Friday. I understand your grief. I extend my condolences. Everyone I've had contact w/was very supportive!
