I think it will still be many years before we learn what the actual motives behind it were... especially considering most people still don't get that the countries the US went to war with, aren't the one's who set it all up.

We may never know all motives, but the first Gulf "war" was a big factor.

"15 of the 19 were citizens of Saudi Arabia, two were from the United Arab Emirates, one was from Lebanon, and one was from Egypt." See the problem with that idea?

I know: but bin Laden & others were angry that infidels set foot on the holy land (Saudi) of Islam. & bombs were being dropped on ppl of their faith in several countries. + they didn't like leaders of those countries (or Iraq)

Yes, the bin laden family.... "The bin Laden family (Arabic: بن لادن, bin Lādin), also spelled bin Ladin, is a wealthy family intimately connected with the innermost circles of the Saudi royal family. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bin_Laden_family …

Osama bin Laden was not "in" w/the rest of his family. He was a sick-o: and 1 of the ppl who obtained stinger missiles fr USA.

Because they said so??? The same people who murdered and dismembered an American journalist? Come on man.

Not just because they said so. Had to do w/feelings of anger many had w/Gulf War I. It's all convoluted. The bottom line is our use of military force as a default in international problems flips back on us.

As general principal, yes, it does, but that was not was this was ever about. Or, at least, not the source of where that anger came from or where the decision to make the attack on the US were made.

15 out of 19 people came from one country, the same country where the 'baddest terrorist' to ever live, not only comes from, but his family is in charge... and everyone STILL turns a blind eye to it... lol
