290 people, including 66 children... Killed by American forces in an unprovoked attack on a CIVILIAN airliner.

Got that? You sailed a warship into THEIR country and shot down one of their civilian passenger jets, then you all lied about it for years, even refusing to admit you were at fault when paying the Iranian government for doing it.

Imagine what would happen if another country did that to the US... if they came onto US soil and attacked civilians... Oh wait, you don't have to imagine it, we know what happens. You literally go to war over it... with countries who weren't even involved in it...

... & they did it because we bombed them to be gin with.

I think it will still be many years before we learn what the actual motives behind it were... especially considering most people still don't get that the countries the US went to war with, aren't the one's who set it all up.

We may never know all motives, but the first Gulf "war" was a big factor.
