If the Government asked a Private Corporation to stifle Free Speech, would 1A protections then protect those people?
E.g.: If Donald asked Jack to mute, suspend, ban #Resisters, would there be a legal argument to be made?
If the private entity acts as a de facto arm of Fed one could argue 1st Amend applies. In the 1960s & 1970s (I'd have to chk my Con Law textbk, there were cases B4 SCOTUS that advanced that arg Not sure of outcome(s)
