Etiquette demands that atheists navigate social nuances and perpetually remain respectful towards religious belief -- even apologetically so. Yeah, fuck that. I genuinely believe obsessive "faith" to be a socially sanctified mental illness. One that deserves only disdain.
Sure: atheists all have same set of beliefs - or so I've been told since I was 17 & rejected organized religion. Also been told atheism IS a religion - always thought that was a "reach."
