U.S. overall war record: 4-0-1 War of 1812 - tie; Mexican-American War - win; Spanish-American War - win; World War I - win; WWII - win Revolutionary War was not a "war" as U.S. not a nation yet. Civil War - war never declared; military put down treasonous rebellion

Korean War - not won -- no peace treaty Vietnam - lost Iraq - won but a disaster Afghanistan - not won cost $2T Not much winning here

I understand but those were not "wars." Ppl were shot or blown apart & died: but U.S. gov't dispensed w/declaration of war in all those instances If we have 2 declare war, it makes butchery more difficult.

Americans didn’t win ... The Allies won ... by saying it was the Americans you minimize the operations of all involved. At least WW 1 and 2
