That’s not reasonable. It’s complete destruction of the 2nd amendment.

Not at all. All Constitutional rights are subject to reasonable restrictions. Surely you aren’t arguing to replace democracy with anarchy!

Your subjective biased view on what you deem “reasonable” is full destruction of the 2nd amendment. (2) and (3) are already established and enforced. (1), (4), and (5) are unconstitutional provisions that have been struck down by SCOTUS on historical and contextual grounds.

Close to HALF of gun acquisitions are finalized without any background check whatsoever. Matthew Miller, MD, ScD; Lisa Hepburn, PhD; Deborah Azrael, PhD. “Firearm Acquisition Without Background Checks” Annals of Internal Medicine. Retrieved February 20, 2017

Wrong. Roughly 80% of firearm transactions go through FFL’s. All firearms transferred at FFL’s adhere to the 4473 & NICS process. All. Any violations to this process is a felony. 20% are private transfers. A far cry from your “HALF” statement.

22%, but that is a study of only ~1600 ppl volunteering info. Only 19 states require checks for all handgun sales. When one state implemented requirements, gun violence dropped 40%, another repealed them, gun crime went up by 25%. Trafficking in states w checks is 48% lower.

Way to downplay that figure. That “1600 volunteering info” is the most accurate estimate given the methodology of the results deriving data from the GfK. Some statistical variables by the NCVS or BJS have an even smaller sample size. All 50 states require BGC’s.

Ah yes, the technicality idiots hope we buy. Yes all states require some form, only a handful require universal. Of the 22% estimated guns, 80% are used in crimes. An est. 13.1M guns were sold in the US in 2018 of which 22% is 2.9M...2.3M will be used in a crime at some point.

“All 50 states require BGC’s” - is this troll still at it? 41 states don’t require background checks for all gun sales. Private sellers have no way of knowing if the buyer is prohibited. All sales and transfers should be via FFL. Same for ammo.pic.twitter.com/Bh892kWVEl
