otoh - inmates have no one to advocate for them & their rts R at issue/viol'd every day. I'm against for-profit prisons, but inmates have real stake in stopping them.

Homosexual rape is routinely tolerated in US prisons. Our prisons are the universities of the underworld. For profit prisons are beyond congressional redemption.
