1968 I was 12/turned 13. In Apr, MLK killed June, RFK killed. Even w/Nixon elected there seemed 2 B hope Media (Kronkite, et al) questioned Members of Congress & SCOTUS were checks & balances. Now? Far far worse

Seemed like every evening TV would stop w/: "This is a Special Report..." Then Mr Kronkite or Messrs Huntley & Brinkley would announce the latest. Or LBJ would come on.

I was born that year.. Into the mess.. I miss Tim Russert.. He would have stopped the TeaParty in its tracks.. I feel like we would have never gotten here if he was still around. Maybe I put too much faith in rational thought.. but what else can we do?

Seriously? Focus on the evil we face & what it wants i.e. Putin. We have to address dt & minions rationally. We engage each other on issues, not on personalities. We do not snipe at ea other. We boost ea other's spirits & vote Dem Make sense?
