Good question: when directly addressing the other side - the little barbs they throw out make them look cheap. We should not go to their level. They're racists or say racist things? Call them on it. We don't have to cuss. It is undignified.

with you; that’s just senselessly inflammatory & undignified in conversation.
I typically swear when I’m talking about general things like my crazy hair or psychopaths or abusers. I don’t really incorporate swearing into my politics except to occasionally say WTF? -
It's been tough for me & it will continue to be, but we have to maintain the higher ground. Still fight like hell, but maintain our dignity.
