One of the struggles with this administration’s mad, scattered anti-rule of law approach is that it’s been impossible to focus the majority of the country’s attention on a specific wrong, all at once. The current immigration debacle has the potential to break that mold.
Good point, however - (1) there is so much wrongdoing simultaneously and (2) the wrongdoing becomes more extreme. What might seem significant enough to break the mold today could seem far less serious tomorrow.
