I grew up in the 80s as a racial minority in a Conservative suburb that to this day has a tendency to hate racial minorities. The Vice Principal called me a liar to my face for saying her favorite blond student wouldn't touch me. Told me shut up and not tell my folks.(more)

A literal week later he was arrested for raping a girl in the bathroom. She was given a promotion the next year to principal. To pick new favorite students and tell other people to ice their bruises and be quiet. AMERICA WAS NEVER GREAT.
