Even now, I am surprised at how much rural and supposedly Christian voters will sanction - in their own lives and that of the President - because they think an intensely stated opposition to abortion absolves them of everything else.
Important thing I've learned the past 2 yrs - ppl who R Christians whom I respect. In IN I've been conditioned by being around RW types. While I still Q origins of the religion & existence of a supreme deity, there are people who are progressive who adhere to that faith.
