@RafalutionXVII Sorry that I had to take off for a few days. I know it was a Blue Wave, but we lost the Senate seat here in Indiana, and I thought we would pick up at least one House seat.
I agree - it's just that this State is quite red, although not as red as GOP leaders might think.

You mean Billy Bailey? I was on staff at Purdue in early 1980s. Greater Laughalot area was actually kind of hip. Then the religious-political fusion that Falwell had started elsewhere began to seep into local culture.
