No - if you mean the location in Broad Ripple. It went out of business rt before I moved to Broad Ripple in Aug '87.

I think it was just N of downtown, in '89. Mugwumps meant a fence-sitter, someone who has half of their tuckus on each side of the fence. Ah - "a person who remains aloof or independent, especially from party politics." OH MY "The Mugwumps were Republican political activists..."

I checked on-line & didn't see it. A former mgr of Mugwumps was mgr of The Stone Mug (now closed) & told stories of Mugwumps. Maybe they moved the license & reopened where you say. I'd ask him but he passed a few yrs ago.
