    I could never write about this without thinking of Ken Dodd (one for the 'veteran' British crowd)

    Didymoon is now Dimorphos. The target of our first asteroid redirection practice mission now has an official name. Personally would have gone for "Puny Space Rock" or "Earth Sends Its Regards", but Dimorphos is cool too I guess.

    In 2016, and I sent a proposal to to include the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 flags on emoji keyboards 👉 It was a success 👉 But before it landed, Apple, Google etc had to consider the design. Especially the dragon… THREAD 👇

    This - TikTok vs Hollywood billions and overcomplicated engineering (I really don't want to have to turn my phone to 'see another perspective') was only going to end one way.

    Something that jumps out re how people talk about Quibi: it's bizarre to attribute their problem to timing, coronavirus, technology, marketing etc. The fact that not a single one of their *billion dollars* worth of shows have caught on in even a minor way is the entire story
