The new voting equipment does not lend itself to mail in voting. I was a Republican observer and it took 13.5 hours to process 4000 mail-in ballots in 100 ballot batches.

So maybe this points to a poor decision made to purchase the new voting equipment (which has a host of other issues already).

No mention of doing the easy things that could have made election day go much smoother: mandated backup paper poll books, sufficient emergency paper ballots, AND poll worker training materials on using both of these. Instead of blaming the machines they blame the county workers

Washington State is 100% vote by mail and 100%
