This is a PII data breach with drivers license numbers for millions of GA residents. The data files on these Expresspoll units are on flash cards you can pull out, and are not encrypted. And there is also a hard-coded password you can Google to start up the machine.

The last time the state lost poll books, it never found them, and said thieves were not smart enough to get the data off of them. This is very wishful thinking. Home Depot bought credit monitoring for customers when they had a PII breach. GA SOS gets away with it repeatedly.
