Mark, Thank you for detailed analysis and write up backed by data on Mid Tech jobs in US. In India, job market is unique and different. Almost all corporate tech jobs require Bachleors degree in addition to tech skills / hot skills. 1.5 million Engineers graduate annually here

Out of 1.5 million , Jobs are available only for 100 thousand engineers. Remaining graduates remain largely unemployed or work at low paying jobs :(
