Won't you continue to wear one until there's actual data that Moderna & Pfizer vaccines prevent transmission?

I imagine he will continue to wear it, regardless. We're not just preventing the spread of COVID, but also any other air- or droplet-borne illnesses that could weaken immune systems or take up hospital beds.

Vaccines dont prevent you from getting or spreading the illness. They prevent you from getting very sick from the illness & reduce transmission. People need to keep their masks on or this will mutate to the point where we need to make another vaccine & start all over.

I plan to wear a mask for the rest of my career. I have not been sick this year and attribute much of my success to that.

And serious masks are a minor inconvenience at worst...

I’d wear the mask for two weeks after vaccination. How long will you wear it?

Until at least a month after the second shot, but really until community spread falls to the point where public health authorities say it’s no longer necessary for me.
